Surveys let you ask players a set of questions and keep the answers on their profile. Every answer is written to Metadata under a key you choose, so what players tell you becomes data you can filter, target, and build on rather than a report you read once.
A Survey can be attached to a Playtest, where its questions are asked during sign-up, or stand on its own and be offered to players in the Player Portal. Either way players answer it while signed in to a White Label Login account, so that needs to be configured and enabled for your game. Attaching Player Segments narrows who is asked — players who reached a certain level, played on a certain platform, or answered a particular way in an earlier Survey.
Use Cases
- Ask sign-ups which platforms they play on
- Collect feedback after a beta round
- Capture player preferences to personalize what you offer them
- Find out which of your other games a player has played
- Qualify applicants before granting playtest access
- Build segments from answers for later campaigns

Survey answers are stored as Metadata, which makes them available to Player Segments for targeting and to CRM Platforms for email campaigns. Surveys are asked during sign-up when attached to a Playtest.
