SDK Error Reports let your game report a failed LootLocker request to the Web Console at the moment it happens, on the call paths you choose. Getting diagnostic information out of a live game is hard — especially on console, where you have no access to the player's logs — so rather than waiting for a player to send you theirs, you ship the reporting with the build and read the failures in the Web Console.
Each report captures the endpoint that was called, the status code that came back, the SDK version in use, and the full request and response payload (with sensitive data redacted) for that single failed request, along with a description you write.
Use Cases
- Ship diagnostics for critical paths, such as save file uploads or purchases
- Instrument a path that is currently misbehaving and watch what comes back
- Gather failure detail from console builds you cannot attach a debugger to
- Capture what a player was doing when a call failed, in their own words
- Find the
trace_idfor a failed request before contacting support - Confirm that a fix stopped a known failure from recurring
How It Works
Nothing is reported automatically. You add a reporting call to the error handling of the LootLocker calls you care about, and only those calls produce reports. This is deliberate: it keeps what reaches the Web Console limited to the failures you decided were worth knowing about.
Reports are listed under Moderation in the Web Console sidebar. Each entry records one failed request from one player, not an aggregated count.
Reports are retained for 7 days, and each game keeps at most 5,000 of them. Once a game reaches that limit, the oldest reports are removed first to make room for new ones. Every report shows its own Expires At time, so you can see exactly when it will age out.
Because reports expire, use Export CSV to keep a copy of anything you need beyond the retention window.

An error report's payload includes the trace_id and code described in Error Codes, which are the same values the Support page asks for when you open a support ticket.
