Catalogs are a key component of LootLocker's Economy system, letting you assign prices to items for sale in your game through Virtual Purchases or Real Money Purchases. A Catalog can sell items that are also distributed through Progressions, Triggers, and Leaderboard Rewards, including Assets, Progression Points, Progression Resets, and Currency. Catalogs are essential when you integrate your in-game store with a platform's payment system, such as the App Store or Steam.
You can create as many Catalogs as your game needs, whether that's a single Catalog for your entire store or multiple Catalogs for different categories. Each item listed within a Catalog is called a Listing. Listings can include single items or bundles, support custom Metadata, and store the item's price along with other information needed for the transaction.
