Branding

Branding is where you keep your visual identity — colors, logos, background images and fonts — and apply it to the web pages LootLocker hosts on your behalf. That identity can be a single game's or your publisher's, whichever the pages should carry. Players signing up for a playtest or logging in outside your game see you, not LootLocker.

You build a library of reusable Elements, then pick from that library when styling each site. The same logo or accent color is defined once and used everywhere it belongs.

Use Cases

  • Put your game's logo and background on its playtest sign-up page
  • Match the hosted sign-in page to your game's look
  • Keep one set of brand colors across every game in your studio
  • Swap a background image across your hosted pages in one edit
  • Give each game in your portfolio its own identity from a shared library

Where Branding Applies

  • playtest.game styles the hosted onboarding page players register on for a Playtest, and the Player Portal they reach afterwards — the same site, entered two different ways, and where standalone Surveys are answered. It takes an accent color, header and body fonts, a logo, a background, a favicon, and a light or dark theme.
  • auth.game styles the hosted sign-in page for White Label Login, which players use when they sign in outside your game. It takes an accent color, header and body fonts, a logo, and a background.

Each site is styled separately, so the two can share a logo and diverge everywhere else.

How-To

Branding styles the hosted pages belonging to Playtests and White Label Login — the onboarding page players register on, the Player Portal where they answer standalone Surveys, and the sign-in page they use outside your game.
